Taiwan aims to be prime APAC ag exporter

The Taiwanese Unlimity Produce Cooperative company aims to take the fresh produce of local farmers to export to help the country  to become leading APAC exporters.

Unlimity, a farmers collective, has an export focus of different crops including jujube and guavas, passion fruit and other fruit and vegetables. During the first half of the year Taiwan exported $511 million agricultural exports to the US, a 14% increase.

Despite these good export figures many Taiwanese farmers have too little volume to export. Unlimity will assist them to reach optimal levels. Japan replaced China in 2022 as the leading buyer of Taiwanese produce in the region.
