Kenya capitalised on the Chinese demand for avocados by exporting $57 million worth of the green gold in just three months.
This follows after the Beijing allowed the African country to export avocados to China again with 1.7 million kg already exported. The good export performance over the past three months comes after Kenya earned about $40.2 million in the first half of this year.
This good performance is driving Kenya to seek out even more export markets for their avocados.
