"After the brand is built, the premium capacity of the fruit will increase by about 30%"

"It is currently the apple season. Our apple cooperation base is located in Weining County, Guizhou Province, which grows plateau apples, and its production season is from now to mid-November. This year, there was hail in Guizhou production areas in August. Affected by the hail, the output of the new season of apples was reduced, and the harvest time was also delayed, but the quality was not affected, which was basically the same as before."

When it comes to cooperating with fruit bases to establish brands and standards, according to Mr. Zheng, many fruit bases have unique natural conditions and rich planting experience, and the fruits they grow are of good quality. However, they often only focus on the planting section and lack a series of post-harvest operations and brand awareness, resulting in unsatisfactory prices and sales of fruit products. Therefore, "Xinnongcai" cooperated with the base to develop a new sales path.

"Our approach is to choose a cooperative base with good production conditions and focus on fruit quality, and jointly establish a set of production and sorting standards, specific to the appearance, quality, size and specifications of the box, and then formulate the outer packaging according to the advantages of the product. We also discuss the pricing strategy.

"Because the founding team of the company has a background in media and agriculture, we will use these original resources to promote it in combination with new media channels. In terms of sales, we cooperate with merchants who have branded fruit products in the wholesale market to jointly promote the brand and share benefits. According to statistics, the fruit packaged by certain brands has a premium capacity of about 30% higher than that sold through conventional channels, achieving a better quality and superior prices."

"Take the Guizhou plateau apples that are currently in season as an example. The plateau climate and the base's emphasis on ecological planting make the apples have high sweetness and a crisp taste. However, in the past, the base only focused on the production and did not pay enough attention to post-harvest preservation, which made it vulnerable to the impact of other apple-producing areas in the market, and no fresh apples were in the market during the Spring Festival. After our cooperation, the base has added a controlled atmosphere warehouse to enhance freshness and effectively prolong the sales season. After that, we will gradually plan to do preservation. "
