Vibrant and colorful bounty of specialty vegetables on display

IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show is fast approaching, and the Babé Farms team will make their way to Orlando, Florida. Babé plans to have a vibrant bounty of specialty vegetables on display: rainbow root vegetables, baby lettuces, specialty greens, signature salad blends, and a collection of crucifers are just a few of the categories that compose its ever-expanding colorful conglomerate. Servicing top chefs and fine retailers since 1986, Babé Farms is no stranger to this iconic produce industry gathering.

Left to right: Jeff Lundberg (owner/CEO), Ramona Chavez (formerly sales), Rosa Cerda (sales), Ande Manos (director of sales & marketing), and Ron Labastida (food safety director).

“Babé Farms has been an exhibitor for over 30 years and has consistently found the Global Produce & Floral Show (formerly PMA Fresh Summit) to be a great value in terms of both quantity and quality of attendees,” said Ande Manos, director of sales & marketing for Babé. “With the show being canceled the last two years, we are excited to be back interacting with the industry again.”

Based in California’s Santa Maria Valley, Babé Farms grows, packs, and ships its vegetables all over the U.S. and Canada. The mild, Mediterranean growing climate allows owner Jeff Lundberg to cultivate the farm’s 1,000 acres year-round.

Babé plans to have a vibrant bounty of specialty vegetables on display, including rainbow root vegetables, baby lettuces, specialty greens, signature salad blends, and a collection of crucifers.

“This show is an event my family and I always enjoy attending,” said Lundberg. “It is an excellent opportunity to see what’s new in produce while simultaneously being able to connect with our customers. We expect the show to be well attended and look forward to seeing some familiar faces again.”

Be sure to visit Babé Farms at booth #2562 for specialty vegetable needs and also follow them on social media for updates from the show.
