After more than 40 years of service, Hoogsteder Director Frans Scholts has taken a well-deserved retirement on 1 August 2022.
In 1981, Frans started working at Hoogsteder at the request of his brother, Theo, to build up sales on the French market. In 1997 he became managing director at Hoogsteder and successfully expanded the organisation with trading and retail activities in France, Switzerland, Italy and overseas. "This can only be achieved with focus, teamwork, creativity and perseverance. I cannot emphasise enough how grateful I am that I have been able to do this for so long together with fantastic colleagues. I am extremely proud of them," says Frans.
The Greenery would like to thank Frans for his commitment to Hoogsteder, its suppliers, its customers and its employees.
Hoogsteder Groep's activities will continue unabated as part of The Greenery International. As a result, The Greenery International will be a trading organisation primarily active with imported products on the Northwest European market and with Dutch products on Southern European markets, with a focus on France, Switzerland and Italy.
