"In such an abnormal season where everyone is waiting for something positive for happen, Fruit Logistica was characterized by the uncertainty of many operators. The spirit during the leading fair in Europe was surreal, devoid of the usual liveliness."
In particular, Maurizio Fiorenza noticed the "absence of many Italian and Spanish operators, as well as of many representatives from the European supermarket chains."
"It would have been better without the ongoing war. However, Berlin 2022 is still a point to restart after the pandemic. We can in fact say events have officially restarted, although not in perfect form. There had been a few signals in Madrid, but nothing to indicate what would happen in Eastern Europe."
"Berlin remains pivotal for comparison within the sector with its interesting conventions. The importance of fairs is confirmed once again. I have to say that the absence of many Italian companies was felt, but I hope to see them in Rimini for Macfrut 2022."
