During the upcoming Fruit Logistica, Argos Packaging & Protection will present a wide range of sustainable packaging, and the specialists will share their knowledge in the field of 'green' packaging. All possible packaging that contributes to a sustainable environment will be highlighted during these three days.
New additions to the range include 100% plastic-free flow pack packaging, biodegradable cucumber films, C02 compensated cardboard trays and in-house produced cold glue and hot melt conical trays.
100% Plastic Free NoW Flowpack Packaging
The latest addition to the range is the 100% plastic-free No Waste Technology (NoW) flow pack packaging. The plastic-free packaging can be fully recycled and serve as a raw material for the production of new paper products. "The packaging is ideal for packing fresh, dried, and frozen fruits and vegetables up to 2.5 kg, among others. In addition, the porosity of the packaging improves the microclimate inside the bag, which significantly extends the freshness and shelf life of the products."
Account manager Kevin van Hamelen is looking forward to the upcoming trade fair. The right protection during storage and transport
In addition to its sustainable product range, Argos is also focusing on the locally produced APP corner profiles that provide the extra protection needed to protect shipments from impact, shock, or instability during storage and transport. The APP edge protectors are widely applicable and available in various qualities and dimensions. The production location of Argos in Honselersdijk is equipped with the latest technologies to ensure that they can produce high-quality angle profiles, can switch quickly, guarantee short delivery times and produce sustainably.
Frans van Alphen, Director of Argos is very excited about the latest developments at their production location. "From our production location in Honselersdijk we can produce corner profiles and various cold glue and hot melt conical shells in any desired quality. It is important to guarantee this quality and continue to provide our customers with the desired quality. Therefore, focus on the entire process is extremely essential in this."
