The presentation of the International Cherry Symposium (ICS), which was attended by 160 journalists, operators and experts from all over the world, can be watched again. The event was coordinated by Macfrut director Luigi Bianchi, and Stefano Lugli (University of Modena and Reggio), Brunella Morandi (University of Bologna) and Davide Neri (Università Politecnica delle Marche) illustrated everything that will take place between May 2nd and 6th in the various locations in Emilia Romagna (Bertinoro, Macfrut, Cesena a Vignola).
International experts Greg Lang from Michigan State University (Usa) and Moritz Knoche from the University of Hannover (Germany) also spoke and will take part to the convention held on the first day of Macfrut.
Six global players will then take part in the event planned for May 5th at Macfrut: Belit Balci, General Deputy Director at ALARA Tarim Ürünleri San. Ve Tic.A. (Turkey); Cristian Tagle, President of Comité de Cerezas de ASOEX (Chile); Todd George, Production Vice President at Stemilt Growers LLC (Usa); Nuriddin Kushnazarov, Counselor/Permanent Vice Representative at FAO, IFAD and PAM Embassy of the Uzbekistan Republic (Uzbekistan); Andres Stewart, Agricultural Engineer at Frutaria (Spain); Andrea Bernardi, Presidente Consorzio Ciliegia IGP di Vignola (Italy). Each of them presented their company and the main product and process innovations.
