The European stone fruit season is over and the Ondine brand of flat fruit (flat peaches and flat nectarines) is looking back on a very satisfactory campaign, according to Angel Vallin, of Agro Selections Fruits (ASF).

"Being able to guarantee the product's commercial shelf life (talking about flat nectarines and flat peaches) is allowing us to achieve solid and sustainable growth in Europe for the coming years. The objective is to offer the end consumer a healthy snack with a delicious taste," he says.

This has been a key year for Ondine, as it has gained presence in new countries, in addition to the French market, where it has its historical origin. Ondine is also marketed in Spain, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Finland and the United Kingdom.
"The supply of Ondine products will continue to grow year by year and this will allow us to access other markets that also want to enjoy Ondine flat fruit. This will be the case in Australia," says Angel Vallin.

The first volumes of Australian-produced flat peaches and nectarines are expected later this year, in the season that goes from December 2021 to March 2022.
"We are pleased to report that at least 2 distribution chains in Australia will have the products available and their customers will be able to enjoy Ondine's outstanding organoleptic properties."
