Manfredi Cold Storage, a large temperature-controlled storage company based out of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, has improved the conditions of their cold rooms. With the support of Bio Turbo technology, which they have been utilizing for the past 2 years, Manfredi has managed to minimize the level of ethylene gas in their kiwi storages.
Back in 2017, Manfredi Cold Storage tackled premature ripening and loss of firmness issues with Miatech’s patented Bio Turbo technology. Within a short time the storage conditions were improved. Ethylene and airborne pathogens were removed, cross-contamination issues solved and the overall air quality increased. What resulted is extended kiwi storage life and an overall reduction of waste.
