Perfection Fresh adopts HarvestMark quality insights software

Groceries are poised to get even fresher for customers throughout Australia thanks to an innovative, quality management and assurance solution being implemented by leading Australian produce company, Perfection Fresh.

The new solution, leveraging technology from HarvestMark-Trimble, will offer even fresher produce to the millions of customers who buy Perfection Fresh unique branded fruits and vegetables. “By implementing this game changing solution, Perfection Fresh is further enabling our retail customers to deliver on their ambitions to provide their customers the freshest products, anytime, anywhere” said Francesco Oliveri, Head of Information Technology at Perfection Fresh.

The HarvestMark-Trimble Insights solution utilizes retailers’ quality specifications to assess every outgoing shipment before it arrives at the retailers distribution centers, ensuring only the best quality product is delivered while spoilage and food waste are reduced.

In a further step to improve overall quality and engage with their customers, Perfection is also looking to adopt the HarvestMark Consumer Connect program to engage and connect with their consumers. This program which will be accessible to every consumer through an easy to scan QR code, will provide product and nutritional information, recipes and more on the consumers’ mobile device or smart phone.

Ilango Surendran, ANZ Regional Manager at HarvestMark-Trimble says “We are excited to work with Perfection Fresh. The ability to respond to even the smallest changes in quality is vital for customer satisfaction and loyalty, particularly for fresh products. The Perfection team have been very innovative, and we look forward to working closely together in exploring new ways to further improve product freshness and service for their customers.”
