According to data published by Fexpex (Spanish Federation of Fruit and Vegetable Exporters), Morocco remains Spain's leading supplier of fruits and vegetables, with an estimated turnover of 5.4 billion dirhams (445 million USD). This represents 15% of the total Spanish imports.
Throughout the past five years, Moroccan exports of fresh produce have increased by 174%, with a volume increase of 109%, or 153,530 tons of products.
