Recently the Hongzheng Aquatic Produce Company from Rongcheng successfully exported 90.8 kg of dried, ripe wakame seaweed to Egypt. It passed through inspections at the Rongcheng department for inspection and quarantine of import and export, where it obtained qualifications for export to Egypt. This is the first time wakame seaweed has been exported from Rongcheng to Egypt, and it opens up a new market.
Rongcheng has exported over 3.000 tons of wakame seaweed in 2017 so far. The export volume increases steadily.
