New member on Board of Directors at Aldi Süd

Max Hofmarksrichter (45) will be the newest member of the Board of Directors of the Aldi Süd group in Germany, from 1 May 2017. The Board, with Roman Heini (spokesperson), Peter Ernst and Jens Ritsche, will then consist of four members again. The board is an advisory body for the 31 regional companies of the Aldi Süd group in Germany.

Max Hofmarksrichter has been working for the Aldi Süd group for nearly 17 years. He was responsible for the expansion to Italy in his last function, and before that he was Managing Director for Aldi Süd Donaueschingen.

Michael Veiser (41) will take over the position of Country Managing Director in Italy from 1 February 2017. Michael Veiser started working for Aldi Süd in 2000, and he is currently the Managing Director, Logistic & Services, of the Aldi Süd Services in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
