Anecoop receives Company of the Year award in France

Alejandro Monzón, president of Anecoop, will collect the Company of the Year award on Monday 14 December at the hands of the Ambassador of Spain in France, Ramón de Miguel, and the president of COCEF, José Miguel García, at a gala held in the Intercontinental Hotel in Paris, attended by nearly 200 people.

As explained by the president of COCEF, José Miguel García, the Company of the Year award will be granted to the second-level cooperative Anecoop because it is one of the leading companies in the international market, with a strategy based on values like quality and innovation. It also has a strong presence in France and has helped create a positive image of Spain in this country.

It is worth noting that, earlier this year, the French subsidiary of the Group launched a new business structure devoted exclusively to the marketing of organic products: Solagora SAS. In this sense, the president of COCEF said: "Anecoop amply meets every requirement to qualify for this award, but we should also not forget its commitment to the development of environmentally-friendly production systems and its promotion of organic farming as a way to tackle climate change; a strategic commitment that entails many opportunities for economic development."

For 15 years, COCEF, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, has presented the Company of the Year award to large firms such as Iberia, BBVA, Endesa, Gas Natural, Freixenet or Porcelanosa. In each edition, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in France grants awards under four different categories: Company of the Year, SME of the Year, Personality of the Year and a plastic arts and photography award.

Its goal is to promote Spanish companies and personalities of Spanish origin who have excelled with their influence, reputation and business development in their respective fields.
