France : Bonduelle transforms 15,000 tons of vegetables per year in the Aube

Since the first order came in on the 18th June 1990, and being bought by Bonduelle in 1997, the factory in Saint-Benoist-sur-Vanne, formerly called “Appétifrais” has grown considerably.

Covering over 6 hectares, the factory produces 15,366 tons per year of “catered” produce and employs 150 full time personnel as well as a hundred or so seasonal workers in high season, of which 10 are employed by the Convergence group.

The Director, Geoffroy d’Ales explains that they have high seasons because their activity is “weather-sensitive”. “We have a seasonal high in the spring-summer, and a period of low activity in the autumn-winter”. The period between April and September represents 70% of their activity.
