Customers choose own fresh cut fruit and veg portions

The New Zealand retailer, New World Supermarket Te Rapa, is raising the bar when it comes to service. In this supermarket, customers can serve themselves fresh cut vegetables. According to the owner, this reduces food waste: "Customers can get only what they need, and they can combine the right amount of vegetables with other vegetables." It is not yet known if or when this concept will come to the Netherlands."
