In April 2015 JASA installed the first JASA350CM, as part of a complete line for doy-pack packages with a steam valve, at Freshtime in England. Freshtime supplies 'ready to eat' fresh cut vegetables to a number of leading supermarkets in the U.K. The line that was installed in April made 2 million doy-pack packages within 1.5 months. Despite the fact that the machine works 24 hours a day, production is not sufficient. Therefore, Freshtime has ordered a second JASA350CM in order to boost production. They intend for this line to be up and running before Christmas, so that during the Christmas rush extra packaging can be produced.
JASA350CM
The JASA350CM is a packaging machine that can process multiple sorts of packaging made out of different kinds of material, "This is particularly useful for companies that supply different fruits and vegetables in different packaging, because you only need one machine," says Stephanie Hulshoff. The JASA350CM can process 120 packages a minute and weights from 50 grams to 10 kg, dependent on the material. In addition, the machine has a hygienic design and is easy to clean. The machine has very user-friendly software."
