Tasteful Selections bite-sized potatoes will be part of Thanksgiving dinner for thousands of people less fortunate; the company has donated 12,500 pounds of potatoes to the 33rd Annual E.J. Jackson Foundation Turkey Grocery Giveaway on November 24, 2015 in Los Angeles.
Tasteful Selections’ potatoes will be included with each box of groceries that includes a frozen turkey and all the dinner fixings for Thanksgiving. A total of 10,000 boxes of groceries will be given away to thousands of people less fortunate including low income seniors, disabled veterans and people living with disabilities throughout southern California.
“At Tasteful Selections we are extremely passionate about contributing to programs, like the E.J. Jackson Foundation, aimed at fighting hunger,” said Russell Wysocki, president and CEO of RPE, co-owner of Tasteful Selections. “With the holiday season, we are grateful that we are able to give back and help those families in need.”
The turkey dinners will be disbursed at Jackson Limousine Services parking lot, 3669 West Slauson Boulevard, Los Angeles. Gates open at 8 a.m. A line-up of special guests will be part of the event, including actor Lou Gossett, Jr.
