At the end of October this year, Mudanjiang prefecture and Ning'an, Linkou, Hailin and Muling foreign trade enterprises registered a report showing they have received quarantine inspection over 43,700 tons of exported fruits and vegetables with a value of 36,439,400 American Dollars. This is a volume increase of 6.33% and a value increase of 9.55%.
According to reports, China's relevant departments are carrying out a more supporting policy for steady development of foreign trade. The export agriculture production base filing system was abolished. Further more, in Mudanjiang, Ning'an, Hailin and other counties a lot of farmers are growing excellent quality fruit and vegetables according to organic cultivation standards. They are using different channels to open up the international market, causing the export-oriented agricultural market to develop rapidly.
Through export, the value of fruit and vegetables is clearly increased. Ten months ago, the total value of export products of foreign trade enterprises that underwent supervision from Mudanjiang's Inspection and Quarantine Bureau reached to 158 million American Dollars.
