Silke Pfeffer new managing director of Frischezentrum Frankfurt

Silke Pfeffer is the new full-time managing director of Frischezentrum Frankfurt. The former procurator of the company is already in office since July 1st, 2015, and takes over the managing tasks from Hans-Georg Paulus and Adolf Kannengießer.

Hans-Georg Paulus had already withdrawn as managing director of the wholesale market of his own accord on December 31, 2014. Due to retirement, managing director Adolf Kannengießer also resigned from office at the end of September.

With Silke Pfeffer, the business of the wholesale market is being managed by a full-time female managing director for the first time since its founding. Thus far, since the business started in 2004, the Frischezentrum has been lead by two part-time managing directors and a procurator.

In 2004, the new Frischezentrum replaced the old Frankfurt wholesale market hall at the Osthafen after over 75 years. Since then, the Frischezentrum counts among the most modern wholesale market sites in Germany. With its central location and broad range of products, the wholesale market offers the best conditions for successful trade on a property area of 13.3 hectares.
