Family Rozenberg
Established in 2006, Bless SR began shipping a full line of herbs from Israel to Russia. They've expanded to provide their clients with exotic fruit, like pitaya, but their main focus remains herbs. They secure their herbs from Israeli growers and market those supplies to distributors in Russia. Ruti Rozenberg, who is part of the family that runs Bless, noted that their family history has given them an advantage in the Russian market.
“We have family roots in the Ukraine, and because can speak the language we first focused on Russia,” said Rozenberg. They export 550 tons of herbs annually, and most of that goes to Russia. But as Bless has grown, added Rozenberg, they want to establish more connections in many of Europe's main markets.

“The number of growers we source our products from has grown by 50 percent over the last few years,” said Rozenberg. “So now we're looking to work with importers in the U.K., France and Germany.” They already send some shipments to the Netherlands, where importers further distribute them across Europe, but now they want more direct connections in other European countries. Rozenberg cited the company's focus on customer service and their quick delivery times as advantages in their quest to expand westward.
“What sets us apart from other companies is that we can deliver an order within 48 hours by air,” said Rozenberg. They're Global GAP certified, and their quality control process has them checking in with growers at every step of the production process. As a small company, she added, they can accommodate any client demands regarding size of order, packaging or labeling.
“A big thing with our company is quality,” said Rozenberg, “if it's not good enough, we don't ship it.”
