The grape season for Namibia has wonderful perspectives ahead. Hillfresh, has been a partner to Grape Alliance Marketing for years and started this year the co-operation with Navico. Hillfresh is very excited about this tasteful coalition. The first grapes are of the varieties Early Sweet and Flame Seedless. The harvest is already very promising and the quality is said to be high.
“We are very pleased with the grapes”, says Michiel van Dijk, grape buyer at Hillfresh, “not only do they taste wonderful, but we also have common understandings with the suppliers when it comes to social responsibility. This is always an important aspect for us”.
The delay of the South African grapes provides the grape sale with many opportunities. The Namibian harvest is part of a year round grape program at Hillfresh and the grapes are available in the packaging of 10x500, 11x500 and 4.5 kg.
