UK: Changes in management at AgroVista

Agrovista UK Ltd, the leading agronomy specialist, crop protection, agricultural and horticultural product distributor has announced changes in the senior management of the business.

James Robertson, the current Managing Director and Executive Chairman will move to the position of Group Chairman and will take over a wider role within the business overseeing expansion plans and looking at opportunities within the industry and the wider business.

Glenn Aungles, Finance Director and Company Secretary of Agrovista, has been appointed the new Managing Director, effective from January 2013.

Glenn joined Agrovista in 2010 as Finance Director following 10 years experience at board level, predominantly in Venture Capital backed businesses. Glenn trained with KPMG, moving into industry in the mid 90s and has extensive experience across several industry sectors.

Commenting on the appointment, James Robertson said “I am delighted that Glenn is our new Managing Director, his experience in all aspects of business outside agriculture will be invaluable. Since joining our business over 2 years ago, he has very quickly grasped the key challenges that face our industry over the next few years.”
