Koppert Biological Systems wins DHL Export Trophy

The DHL Export Trophy was given to a Dutch SME company that is ahead with export and innovations. The judges, consisting of EVD (Agentschap NL), Fenedex, ING and DHL Express unanimously chose Koppert Biological Systems. The company, based in Berkel and Roderijs, is an international market leader in the area of organic crop protection and natural pollination. Besides the prize, a certificate and a trophy, there is a company film attached which shows the unique exporting character of Koppert Biological Systems.

The judges: "The winner has lead a thorough export policy for years, in which all aspects of strategic export management are highlighted. Against the economic development, it opened a location in Greece this year, and is growing in the South African market. It also entered the Brazilian market by taking over Itafort Bioproduto. An example for many companies in Holland."

Paul Koppert of Koppert Biological Systems: "This prize feels like a recognition for all of the people in our company." The DHL Export Trophy is an annual prize which has been awarded for the first time.
