Netherlands: Israel season at Valstar Holland

Now that the Dutch season is over and done with, Valstar Holland is focusing on paprika from Israel. During the last two winter seasons volumes at Valstar increased greatly and this year seems no exception. The paprika comes from several Israeli suppliers, the main one being Arava Export Growers.

Avara is Israel’s largest exporter of paprika, but also ships citrus, pomegranates, avocados, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes and grapes. They also supply organic produce, fresh herbs and exotic items. Quality and food safety are two of its pillars. Avara has chosen to deal with a few Dutch partners exclusively.
