Germany: First ‘Rewe-to-go’ on Cologne railway station

This week saw the instalment of Germany’s first Rewe-to-go at Cologne’s railway station. There are two similar stores already in existence, but this is the first one at a train station. The outlet will be open for business 24-7 and offer a large array of fresh, healthy bite sized snacks ‘on the go’. The total assortment will contain over 3,500 products.

“With Rewe-to-go we want to offer people a quick and appealing alternative for the road,” says Lionel Souque, board member of the Rewe Group and currently responsible for the Rewe supermarkets in Germany. “Cologne Central is the ideal spot. It’s one of the busiest junctions in the country.”
