US: First female ‘Biggest Loser’ elevates mood at PMA

This year's PMA Fresh Summit was a perfect fit for Ali Vincent, the first woman to become the ‘Biggest Loser’ in 2008, and now the host of a popular cable show (Live Big With Ali Vincent) on the Live Well Network while starting her second year as spokesperson for the Pink Lady Brand Apple.

"Once again it was illustrated for us why Ali is such a great representative of the Pink Lady Brand Apple," says Alan Taylor, marketing director of Pink Lady America LLC in Yakima, Washington.

"She is a great representative for the healthy aspects of our product and that’s something which registered completely with the Washington State apple shippers and marketers at PMA. She proved that in losing of 112 pounds with the Biggest Loser and continues to ‘walk the walk’ in her continued participation in health-oriented events."

She will also continue to have an impact on the apple industry and consumers through the social media program coordinated by Pink Lady America as well as other events such as Bloomsday 2013 in Spokane.
