Netto opens logistic centre of 39,000 m2

The German discounter Netto Marken Discount have after a building period of about twelve months, put a new logistic centre into use. The new logistic centre is in the German town of Bad Wünnenberg (Northrhine-Westfalia). The total area of the new warehouse is 39,000 m2 and the outside area is 147,000 m2. At the moment the subsidiary of Edeka want to supply more than 160 branches with products. Not only shops in its own federal state, but also shops in Hessen and Lower Saxony. From the new establishment up to 250 branches can be supplied in the long term. 240 jobs have been created as a result of the new logistic centre being established in Bad Wünnenberg.
