Pakistan: Tomatoes, garlic prices go up before Eid

In Islamabad’s open market, vendors have increased the prices of tomatoes, onion and garlic by Rs40, Rs10 and 20 respectively. Wholesale dealers say the latest surge in the prices of vegetables is in line with the economic principle of demand and supply.
