Agricultural sector stakeholders on Wednesday agreed in principle to import fruit and vegetables from the Palestinian territories on condition that they are of Palestinian origin.
During a meeting between Agriculture Minister Ahmad Khattab and his Palestinian counterpart Waleed Assaf, attended by sector representatives, Assaf pledged that his ministry would not sign certificates of origin for any non-Palestinian goods.
