Los Angeles-based Paramount Farms, a grower of tree crops like almonds and pistachios, is one of the finalists for this year's PMA Impact award. The award honors excellence and innovation in packaging, and it will be awarded in October at the PMA conference in Anaheim, California.
Paramount Farms is a finalist for their line of sliced almond salad toppings known at Almond Accents. The almonds have previously been available in the following flavors: Oven Roasted, Honey Roasted and Oven Roasted with no salt. This fall, however, they will add the following to their existing flavors: Honey Roasted with Cranberries, Sweet Roasted with Pomegranate and Sea Salt with Cracked Pepper.
