Netherlands: 10 Dutch exhibitors at the Holland Pavilion PMA Fresh Summit

The 63rd PMA Fresh Summit International Convention & Exposition is taking place in Anaheim, California (United States) on the 27th and 28th of October 2012. With more than 18,000 visitors and 800 exhibitors annually, the Fresh Summit has grown into one of the most important conventions for the fresh fruit and vegetable sector in North America in the last few years. The head agency for Agricultural Wholesalers has made sure that the Netherlands are well represented at the convention this year with a large 'Holland Pavilion'.

Participants

The Dutch participants in the pavilion are: Eminent, Eosta, Global Green Team, J.M. Levarht & Zn., Organic Trade Company Holland, Van Rijn Trading, Koppert Biological, Kubo Greenhouses, Kuhne+Nagel and Rijk Zwaan.

Other Dutch companies which are not in the pavilion but have individual stands are: The Greenery, NNZ and Koppert Machines.

Networking reception

On the occasion of the Dutch participation in the Fresh Summit, the Agricultural Council from the Dutch Embassies in Washington and Mexico, Martin Old Monnikhof and Gabrielle Nuytens-Vaarkamp are holding a networking reception on Saturday the 27th of October from 17.30-19.30. Ken Shwedel, the former Executive Director Food & Agribusiness Research Mexico from Rabobank International, will be giving a presentation about trends in the international trade of fruit and vegetables during this gathering.
