PhytoVitality is an innovative and licensed production company who produces (year round) raw material of CBD and THC cannabis. Our high-tech/automated greenhouse (15.000m2) is located 20 minutes from Zurich City.
Due to extension we are looking for (junior/senior) growers with a horticulture background, specialized and passionate in climate- and irrigation management. It’s an opportunity for you to join a thriving business in a blooming industry.
As part of our team, you should have an open-minded and hands-on approach with good knowledge of large scale cultivation, horticulture automation systems (climate computers/machinery) and management skills. Our company is aiming for the highest quality of flowers, people and cultivation systems.
Responsibilities
- Part of the production management team
- Water and fertilizing management
- Climate control by managing the climate computer (Hoogendoorn)
- Recognize plant stresses, pest and diseases and act accordingly
- Translate and transform feedback from Cannabis agronomists into climate, fertilizer and irrigation set points
- Oversee and support the technical department with the maintenance of the greenhouse
- Analyse relevant data to optimize the production
- Contact person for the suppliers of production related products and service companies (inventory management)
- Manage the production in compliance with GACP regulations and internal Quality Management System
Requirements
- Knowhow of greenhouse operations and management
- Extensive experience with climate computers (Priva or Hoogendoorn)
- Education in agriculture or horticulture science
- Knowledge of cannabis is a pré
- Understanding of pest and disease management
- Understanding of GACP and EU-GMP regulations (Quality Management Systems)
- Communication and people management skills
- Able to work with weekend- and alarm shifts (1/3 weeks)
- Languages : German and English
