CMA CGM re-enters Russia via revised Baltic service

According to DynaLiners, CMA CGM will resume vessel calls to Russia for the first time since suspending operations in early 2022 following the invasion of Ukraine.

The carrier has adjusted its Finland Express (FLX) service, which links Bremerhaven and Hamburg with major Baltic ports, by replacing Gdansk with a weekly call at Rauma in Finland. Starting in mid-November, the service will be extended to include St. Petersburg, operated on a fortnightly basis and alternating with Rauma.

Once the new schedule is implemented, the updated rotation will be Bremerhaven, Hamburg, St. Petersburg, Rauma, Kotka, Helsinki, Tallinn, and back to Bremerhaven, with alternating port calls.

The change represents CMA CGM's controlled re-entry into the Russian market through a limited and alternating service structure.
