The operations of Jager Holland and WTG Logistics have been taken over by Postuma AGF from IJsselmuiden. Brian Meier of Jager Holland expresses his relief that, despite the bankruptcy of both companies, their activities have been transferred to the wholesaler from IJsselmuiden. "There was a lot of interest, but we preferred a party that wanted to continue the activities of both companies. We have been doing business with Postuma for years and share the same mentality and vision. We are therefore very pleased that they have taken over the operations."
An agreement was reached on Friday. The activities of both Jager Holland and WTG Logistics will be fully integrated into Postuma AGF, with the company in Emmen closing permanently. "Our approach is to take over as many staff members as possible," says Postuma AGF commercial director Jarno Kwakkel. "It has all happened quickly, so we will be working out the details further in the coming days."

According to Jarno, the acquisition of the wholesale and transport operations aligns well with Postuma AGF's geographical reach. "We have been active in Flanders for about seven years, and in recent years we have also started operations in Germany. With this development, we saw a strong opportunity to expand our business in the German market in particular."
"We see some overlap in the customer base, but this move also allows us to serve new customers and reach a different client group using the expertise available at Jager Holland. At the same time, the Netherlands remains our main market, and it will continue to be so," Jarno emphasizes.
