Enrique Rossi - Budou:

"Last season, we introduced several new varieties to our Japanese customers"

For the fourth consecutive year, Budou Farms will be exhibiting at Asia Fruit Logistica. They are eager to connect with new customers in Asia who are looking for the premium "So Sweet" grapes that consumers love.

"Last season in Japan, we launched a successful campaign highlighting the distinct flavor profiles of each variety. Our grapes are known for their balanced sugar and acid levels, satisfying crunch, and excellent storage life. Additionally, our distinctive packaging and sustainable practices, including the conscious use of water and pesticides, align with global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and our own view of farming," explains Enrique Rossi from the company.

"Our marketing approach has always been hands-on. We use social media, visit stores, and personally do sampling to connect directly with consumers. This personal touch helps them remember our brand and specific varieties. Once you try a "So Sweet" grape, you won't forget us! We plan to use this same strategy in other countries as new opportunities arise."

Budou Farms, also known as "So Sweet," has also announced a new licensing agreement with Bloom Fresh. This partnership allows them to market and grow Bloom Fresh grape varieties, significantly expanding their product range and supply.

"Last season, we introduced several new varieties to our Japanese customers, including Sweet Celebration, Sweet Sapphire, Timpson, Ivory, Carlita, Allison, and Sweet Globe. These grapes received excellent feedback for their unique shapes, size, and colors. Previously, we were limited to just three varieties, so this expansion is a significant milestone.

Budou Farms offered the same lineup, plus Cotton Candy, at specialty Japanese stores in Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

"We are planting a few other new varieties to fill gaps in our calendar planning for the coming years, but always focusing on great flavor and a long shelf life. Bloom Fresh has proven to have the genetics we're looking for, and we will share these new grapes with the consumers."
