Banana prices UK - Week 29:

Belize banana prices up 13%, others steady

In the latest weekly pricing data, Belize recorded a notable increase in the average banana price, rising from £0.88 the previous week to £0.99. This reflects a weekly price change of £0.11, representing a 13% increase. Belize is currently the only country among the three compared that showed a shift in average price, according to the data presented.

In contrast, both Colombia and Costa Rica reported no change in banana prices. For each country, the average price remained steady at £0.96, the same as their previous week's average. This indicates price stability in those markets for the week under review. No fluctuations were observed in the price range for these countries, with Colombia showing a price range of £0.07 and Costa Rica £0.20.
