From January to April 2025, Azerbaijan imported fruits and vegetables from Turkey worth $6.35 million, a 12.4% decrease compared to the same period in 2024, Report news agency said, citing the Turkish Exporters' Assembly.
In contrast, imports in April showed significant growth. During the month, Azerbaijan bought $1.94 million worth of Turkish fruits and vegetables — a 29.4% year-on-year increase.
Turkey's fruit and vegetable exports totaled $833 million in the first four months of 2025, down 8% compared to the previous year. In April alone, exports slightly declined by 0.1% to $199 million.
