Christan Barth, managing director of Kellermann.ch AG, has passed away

The management of Kellermann.ch AG has announced that managing director Christian Barth (r) passed away unexpectedly during the night of April 14, 2025. Barth had been closely associated with the company for many years. In various management positions, he played a decisive role in shaping the development of Kellermann – initially as plant manager for many years, later as head of marketing and sales, and finally, from January 2023, as managing director of the leading supplier of fresh produce to the Swiss food retailing industry.

"With a clear vision, great passion, and impressive drive, Christian Barth has set the course for the future of our company in recent months. He was not only an outstanding leader but also a person of exceptional warmth, creativity, and integrity. His sudden death leaves a deep void. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family – his wife and two adult children – at this difficult time," says the team at Kellermann.ch AG.

"With Christian Barth, we lose an inspiring personality who shaped our company with heart, mind, and vision. We will treasure his memory with great gratitude. Even though his sudden loss leaves a huge gap, we are joining forces to continue running the company as usual," they further write.

Fredi Lattmann will take over the management of the company until further notice. The company will inform its customers and partners as soon as possible about the next steps and upcoming changes transparently and openly.
