CPS has been manufacturing case-packing equipment since 1988. The company produces systems for many industries, including the fresh produce industry, for packaging bags and all types of trays, crates, folding cases, shelf-ready display cases up to containers.
CPS have been present at Hort Connection for the last five years and missed only one due to Covid border closures.
David Griffin from CPS said the event is a great opportunity to meet with existing customers and hopefully meet new companies that are interested in automating their production lines.
The company produces case-packers for potatoes, vegetables and fruit. These systems can be adapted and added to depending on the customer's specifications.
"We have seen an increase in demand for our systems, I think it is a combination between a labour shortage, higher wages - people not wanting to do this type of work anymore and companies feeling vulnerable having to rely on people."
Hort Connections will take place from 5-7 June at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
