Although it has no exhibition space, the Commissione italiana Uva da Tavola (CUT - Italian table grape commission) will still fly to Berlin to attend the leading international fair for the fresh produce sector and has organized a meeting together with CRO Italy to present the ambitious project of the Varietal Registry.
"We will be in Berlin to monitor impressions and current trends and to meet international operators. We return to Fruit Logistica after a year filled with activities and with a new season filled with projects that is about to start," explains Lorenzo Diomede, project manager of the association set up in Puglia in June 2020 aimed at strengthening the Italian table grape sector.

Starting from 11 am at stand 2.2 on Thursday February 9th, the President of Cut Massimiliano Del Core and CSO Director Elisa Macchi will present the project that sees both organizations involved in the collection of data useful to create a first varietal registry of Italian table grapes.
"The activity stated at the end of 2022 and will end next month. The data collected by CSO ITALY will be processed by the start of the next campaign. In such a context of uncertainty combined with the desire to innovate, the register becomes a tool to analyze and plan what needs to be done now and in the future."
The entire board and various associated of Cut will attend the fair.
