In week 52, the three-week average wholesale prices of bananas from Latin America stood at €109/100 kgs.
Average wholesale prices of bananas from Latin America were at €106/100 kgs in the Netherlands. Prices in Belgium stood at €96/100 kgs, while Italians paid €102/100 kgs and the French paid €110 per 100 kgs.
Average wholesale prices of bananas produced within Europe stood at €93/100 kgs in Spain. Prices in the Netherlands came in at €94 per 100 kgs, while the French paid €124/100 kgs.
The EU three-week weighted average price of bananas produced within Europe (UK price excluded) stood at €97 per 100 kgs.
