Pakistan exports over $54 million of fresh produce to China in 9 months

Pakistan increased their fruit and vegetable exports to China, reaching over $54 million from January to September 2022. 

This comes as bilateral trade between the two countries stand at $2.57 billion despite the Covid-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, the major floods in Pakistan destroyed crops. Traders and producers are hoping to recover, so that they can not only feed their nation, but also resume exports to China to earn much needed forex.
