Bangladesh urges Iraq to import more fresh produce

Bangladesh has urged Iraq to import fresh produce such as potatoes, mangoes and a mix of other vegetables from their country.

The trade between the two countries sees a big imbalance with Iraq's trade of $49.63 million compared to Bangladesh that only exports $3.8 million of a total of $53.43 of trade between them.

The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bangladesh urged a visiting Iraq delegation to also invest and make use of the skills of their workforce.
