In week 43, average wholesale prices of bananas from Latin America were at €105/100 kgs in the Netherlands. Prices in Belgium stood at €140/100 kgs, while Italians paid €129/100 kgs and the French paid €110 per 100 kgs.
The EU weighted average price of bananas produced within Europe (UK price excluded) stood at €143 per 100 kgs in week 43.
