The Italian grape season is back in full swing and for La Grande Bellezza Italiana it's time to play the Trump card. "There will be a fixed price for the whole season, thanks to an agreement with some of the supermarket chains we work with," said Leonardo Odorizzi, one of the members of the network.
Two different packages for grapes from La Grande Bellezza Italiana
La Grande Bellezza Italiana has established a recipe with three ingredients, using quality fruit "without ifs and buts," eye-catching and recyclable packaging, as well as brand strategy. "We work with the traditional Italian grape, the Italia variety, but also with seedless grapes, which are increasingly appreciated by consumers."
Grapes are packaged in the field
"Offering a consistently high-quality product throughout the season proved to be the right approach last year, which is why we are continuing on the path we have taken. And all this without price fluctuations, thanks to contracts established at the beginning of the season," added Odorizzi.
During the harvest
"This strategy also allows us to thoroughly address the problem of rising production costs. With a fixed price, the grower knows in advance the compensation. He can adjust his efforts accordingly."

It is also a strategy for the consumer: "Fruit and vegetables that cost 1 euro per kilo one day and 2 euros a few days later create a lot of confusion. People in the sector know very well of course that these are normal market fluctuations, but the consumer does not always know that. A fixed price provides peace of mind."
All this is accompanied by a high and homogeneous quality level, without surprises, especially in terms of taste and appearance.
