Kiwi Passion, a consortium of kiwifruit producers and distributors, was launched in 2019 with the aim of offering consumers premium, excellent quality kiwifruit. It enjoys an outstanding presence in Italy, Greece, France and the United States and it is now presenting the first red kiwifruit in Spain, produced in this same country.
A long-cherished dream comes true
The Kiwi Passion consortium, formed by the companies Agrilepidio, Alpha Fruit, Cofrulleida, Del Monte, Eden Fruit, Fruitsworldwide, Greenyard Italia, Grupo Català, Heliande and CO.N.VI., has allocated more hectares to the production of this variety in recent years. The total production in the 2021/2022 season is estimated at 500,000 kilos.
In this first season, Grupo Catalá, together with the Brunilda brand, has started producing the Red Passion Kiwifruit in Spain.
