As a result of the COVID-19 health emergency, the apple sector must also go online. That's why Fiera Bolzano is launching the innovative Interpoma Business Match initiative.
It is an exclusive online mediation event, scheduled for November 19 and 20, which will allow the sector's professionals to get in touch with potential exhibitors, suppliers, and business partners. Fiera Bolzano created this completely free initiative in collaboration with the Bolzano Chamber of Commerce and EEN Enterprise Europe Network. This congress represents a great opportunity to establish international contacts, sell specialized products and services, and discover innovative solutions throughout the apple sector. The event will bring together representatives of the sector's traditional and organic production, equipment and machinery for the cultivation, harvesting, processing, and packaging of apples, control systems, data processing and computer programs, measurement and control systems, storage and logistics systems, fertilizers, supply for nurseries, information, and advice.
In addition, Interpoma Business Match will allow companies from all over the world to present their news and advances in an online marketplace. Each member of the platform will have their own virtual space in which they can upload multimedia content, text, and images, allowing them to directly present themselves to other professionals interested in having virtual business meetings. The meetings will last approximately 20 minutes and each participant will be able to prepare their own agenda directly on the platform. The B2B meetings are aimed at apple growers, buyers and importers, agricultural equipment dealers, scientific and research institutions, and start-ups in the agricultural sector.
"The traditional biennial appointment with Interpoma has been postponed until 2021," stated Thomas Mur, the director of Fiera Bolzano. "However, the apple sector can't and must not stop. Once registered, each professional or company can upload their material and information to the platform, which will immediately be available to all registered members in the 'Participants' and 'Marketplace' sections. The 'Agenda' section will allow you to create your own calendar of events that you will attend on November 19 and 20.
