Mastronardi denies sale rumours

Reuters.com reports that Canadian greenhouse grower Mastronardi Produce is exploring potential sale-sources. The article suggests that the company is seeking for a potential buyer that values the business as much as $900 million.

"Privately-held Mastronardi has hired Bank of Montreal (BMO) to run an auction process, asking not to be identified because the matter is confidential", was written in the article.

According to a spokesperson of Mastronardi, the company only wanted to estimate the value of the company, and is not directly thinking about selling a part of the enterprise. The company wants to share its potential value with investors in order to further increase business.
